Kristen Jones MD, FAANS is a neurosurgeon specializing in spinal deformity and scoliosis in the University of Minnesota Departments of Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery, where she completed a fellowship in Complex Spine. She is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Neurosurgery-Spine and the AOSpine Knowledge Forum on Deformity. She serves as Chair for Spine Quality and Safety for the MHealth/Fairview health care system. As the current chair of the DSPN Research and Awards Committee, Dr. Jones is working to increase the range of funding and mentorship opportunities available for clinician-scholars focusing on unique, high-impact projects.
